शासन से जुड़े एक वरिष्ठ अधिकरी ने बताया कि समाजवादी युवा स्वरोजगार योजना में हाईस्कूल उत्तीर्ण बेरोजगारों को 25 लाख रुपये तक के उद्योग लगाने के लिए लागत का 25 प्रतिशत, अधिकतम 6.25 लाख और सेवा क्षेत्र की 10 लाख रुपये तक की इकाइयों के लिए लागत का 25 प्रतिशत अधिकतम 2.5 लाख रुपये मार्जिन मनी देने का प्रस्ताव है।

विद्यालक्ष्मी योजना–ब्याज मुक्त ऋण योजना आईआईटी के छात्रों के लिए

मानव संसाधन विकास मंत्रालय द्वारा आईआईटी के छात्रों के लिए कालेज शुल्क का भुगतान करने हेतु ऋण प्राप्त करने के लिए एक विद्यालक्ष्मी  योजना नाम की शुरू करने का फैसला किया है।

विद्यालक्ष्मी योजना के तहत मंत्रालय ने बैंकों से ब्याज मुक्त ऋण प्राप्त करने के लिए अपने शुल्क का भुगतान करने में छात्रों की मदद करेंगे। मंत्रालय की चिंताओं और आईआईटी के छात्रों की प्रतिक्रिया सुनने के बाद इस योजना को शुभारंभ करने की योजना रखी गयी है।

आईआईटी के लिए हाल ही में फीस वृद्धि के भुगतान में छात्रों कोे मुश्किले आ रही है। ये घोषणा आईआईटी उम्मीदवारों के चेहरे पर मुस्कान वापस ला सकता है ।

आईआईटी का शुल्क हाल ही रुपये 90,000 रुपये से बढ़ा कर प्रतिवर्ष 2 लाख कर दिया गया था। हालांकि अनुसूचित जाति, अनुसूचित जनजाति, अलग विकलांग और आर्थिक रूप से पिछड़े वर्गों को छूट प्रदान किया गया है सम्भवत यह फीस वृद्धि नये शैक्षणिक वर्ष से प्रभाव में आयेगा।

हालांकि, इस योजना का लाभ केवल उन आर्थिक रूप से कमजोर उम्मीदवारों को दी जायगी। इस योजना के तहत उम्मीदवार प्रतिवर्ष 9 लाख ऋण प्राप्त करने के लिए पात्र होंगे।
